Yamatomichi now available
at Garage Grown Gear
We’re excited to announce that Yamatomichi products are now available through Garage Grown Gear (GGG), the US-based online retailer known for its carefully curated selection of ultralight gear from around the world.
Our relationship with GGG began at PCT DAYS in the summer of 2025. Lloyd, who had been following Yamatomichi for some time, stopped by our booth—and that first meeting soon grew into a conversation about bringing our gear to GGG.
Nearly a year later, the partnership is official. GGG launched its Yamatomichi offering on August 6, 2026 local time with a selection of five products: Light 5-Pocket Pants, Light 5-Pocket Shorts, Light 5-Pocket Short Shorts, Alpha Vest, and Stuff Pack XL.
International communications
When I hiked the PCT in 2022, I rarely saw Yamatomichi gear on the trail. To now see our products reaching hikers and long-distance trail communities across the US through GGG feels like an important step.
Yamatomichi has drawn a great deal of inspiration from American ultralight culture. Now, we have the opportunity to share our own gear and ideas with hikers in the US. I hope this partnership marks the beginning of a new connection between our hiking communities.
