Merino Shirt

Merino Short Sleeve Shirt

Introduction

  • This product is made of highly odor-resistant merino wool, which usually does not require a frequent wash.
  • It is machine-washable by a general washing machine with medium water flow. Please use a neutral detergent for delicate clothes.
  • Please cleanse the collar area in advance as the sebum stain is hard to be washed away with the washing machine.
  • Do not tumble-dry as the dryer’s heat may harden the fabric.
  • A shorter spin-dry time or no spin-dry setting will prevent wrinkles.
  • When you store the item, use mothballs and/or vacuum storage bags to keep out insects.

What you will need:

  • Washing brush or sponge
  • Neutral detergent for delicate clothes
  • Laundry net bag
  • Iron

How to Wash and Dry

1. Use a neutral detergent for delicate clothes. To preserve the natural texture and function of the fabric, avoid using fabric softener and bleach.

2. Do not pour the detergent directly onto the product; instead, please use the input port or wait until the water is filled in the wash tub.

3. Please wash with all buttons open to prevent damage. Please use a laundry net bag to avoid damage caused by getting tangled with other clothes.

4. Smooth out the wrinkles and line-dry in a well-ventilated shade.

TIPS: Pre-treatment before Washing

For the collar of the shirt where stains are noticeable, please apply a pre-treatment detergent to the stained area and cleanse in advance. If the stains are hard to remove by yourself, please ask your local dry cleaning service.

1. If stains around the collar are noticeable, add a neutral detergent to the lukewarm water (approximately 40°C) in a bucket or bathtub, stir well, and soak the shirt in it. Push the dirt out of the fabric by squeezing it between your fingers. Do not rub it too hard to avoid shrinkage.

2. Please apply detergent directly on the noticeable spots before the machine wash.

Removing Wrinkles

Please lightly stretch or iron the shirt to remove the wrinkles caused by washing and drying. Set the iron at medium temperature, and use steam to moisten the fabric. Next, turn the steam off and gently and slowly apply the iron.

How to Store

Animal-derived merino wool is liked by moths. When you store the item, use mothballs and/or vacuum storage bags to keep out insects, especially when you store it in the closet for the next season.

1. Insect repellent is not required when stored in airtight bags. To prevent moth-eating and exposure to the outside air, air should be tightly removed.

2. When using a storage case, choose one with a lid that can be closed so that the case is filled with the insecticidal gas used in the mothballs. Do not stuff too many clothes into the case, but allow adequate space.
