We’re Coming to PCT Days 2025

We’re excited to share that Yamatomichi will be attending PCT Days 2025, held on August 15 & 16 in Cascade Locks, Oregon.

As hikers ourselves, we’ve been making and using our own gear for over a decade. Made with the rugged Japanese mountains in mind, we strive to make hiking lighter and freer.
Our beginnings were greatly inspired by Ray Jardine and his thinking and the ultralight hiking culture born in the U.S. So the chance to be part of this year’s PCT Days and meet likeminded hikers, sharing stories and talking gear is something we didn’t want to miss.

Please note, we will not be selling any products at the event, but have designed our booth so you can explore our approach to ultralight gear. Do come by and say hello!
Our team will include three PCT thru-hikers—JK, Chef B, and GOAT—alongside our founders, Akira and Yumiko Natsume.

We’ll also have a quick three-minute survey available at the booth. If you take part, we’ll have a small thank-you gift waiting for you.
