April Restock/Release Schdule Updated

A.　Deliveries are scheduled between April and July 2024. Orders will ship as soon as production is finished, so the delivery date may differ depending on the item. You can check the scheduled delivery date for each item in the product information section of the email sent once you place an order (Subject: Order Confirmation &#8211; Yamatomichi) or in the order history section of your account page. The information on your account page is always the most up to date.

Q.　When will preorder items be delivered?

A.　Check the order confirmation email which is sent once you place an order (Subject: Order Confirmation &#8211; Yamatomichi). 
If you have an account, you can check orders from your order history on your account page. If you do not have an account, you can check your order history by creating one with the email address you used when placing your order.

Q.　I forgot what I preordered online. Can I check my order?

A.　Preorders can be canceled up to March 10, 2024. No cancellations are accepted after this cutoff date. For preorders at brick-and-mortar shops and dealers, contact the applicable shop directly.

Q.　Can I cancel my preorder?

A.　Possible reasons are:

<li>Your email address is incorrectly registered in our system.</li>
<li>Our emails end up in your spam folder. </li>
<li>Your email box capacity is full and unable to receive emails.</li>

Q.　I placed a preorder at the online shop but never received a confirmation email.

A.　No, only single credit card payments are accepted. If you would like to switch to payment in installments, please contact your credit card company. For preorders at brick-and-mortar shops and dealers, contact the applicable shop directly.

Q.　Do you accept credit card payments in installments?

A.　Preorders must be paid for in advance by credit card.

Q.　When should I make payment?

A.　Yes, you can do so at 2024 Yamatomichi preorder participating shops. 
The prototype will NOT be exhibited, but the fabric samples of our 2024 items will be displayed at the below brick-and-mortar shops. You can view and try on some samples at stores during the scheduled period. Click <a href="/preorder2024#section03" rel="noopener" target="_blank">HERE</a> for further details.

Q.　Can I preorder products at Yamatomichi brick-and-mortar shops and dealers?

Q. How can I check my own registration information?

A.　You&#8217;re guaranteed to receive items ordered during the preorder period. However, preorder details may be changed if orders far exceed our expectations, or due to other unforeseen circumstances. if this happens, we will do our best to provide an appropriate solution.

Q.　Can preorder items be sold out?

A.　Unfortunately, our online shop system does not allow regular items to be purchased with preorders. Please order them separately.

Q.　Can I purchase regular items with preorder items?

A.　It is the maximum number of items you can preorder (including color and size differences). In this 2024 Preorder, the preorder limit is three of each item. 
For example, MINI Black in size L and MINI Gray in size M are considered the same items, so three of them IN TOTAL can be preordered.

Q.　What’s the preorder quantity limit at your online shop?

A.　No, you cannot. Instead, please cancel your entire order and then place a new, revised order.

Q.　Can I change my online shop preorder?

A.　Yes, you can. Coupons are not accepted at brick-and-mortar shops and dealers, however.

Q.　Can I use coupons for payment?

A.　 No returns are accepted after products are delivered. However, if you find any defects, we accept exchanges if the item is unused.

Q. 　Do you accept returns after purchase?

A.　If the size does not fit, the item can be exchanged (excluding some items). To request an exchange, check the following information, then contact us via &#8220;<a href="https://www.yamatomichi.com/en/support/cancelpolicy" rel="noopener" target="_blank">RETURN &#038; EXCHANGE</a>&#8221; on the Support page. 
・Only unused items may be exchanged. Exchanges are still accepted if you only tried the item on. 
・Exchanges are only accepted within seven days of delivery. 
・Returns may be refused if we find any odors or stains from cigarettes, cosmetics, etc., upon inspection. 
・No returns or exchanges are accepted for the following items. 
　・One Tuck 5-Pocket Pants (Men / Women) 
　・5-Pocket Shorts Long (Men / Women) 
　・5-Pocket Shorts Light (Men / Women)
Items preordered at brick-and-mortar shops and dealers are subject to the shop&#8217;s own exchange rules. Please contact the applicable location for details.

Q.　I bought the wrong size. Can you exchange?

Sorry, a bank transfer is not applicable to international customers.

Q. What’s your bank account? I want to make a payment by bank transfer.

Q. Can I fix my own gear?

A. No, sorry, we don&#8217;t offer hemming service.

Q. Can you hem my pants for me?

A. Depending on the product, this is usually how we would fix a hole in:
1. Merino wool products

We patch and glue to repair using the same fabric.

Q. How do you patch holes?

A. Yes. We accept repairs at our Yamatomichi Zaimokuza in Kamakura, but please make sure we are open before you head out.

A. Anywhere between two to six weeks depending on what needs to be fixed.

Q. How long will it take to repair my item?

A. Please contact us via the form below, and our repair team will get back to you. 
Please fill in the product name, how it is damaged, and the date of purchase. Please also make sure to attach a photo of the damaged part.

Q. How do I inquire about repairs?

A. No, sorry. Due to our system requirement, we are unable to ship the item(s) together with other items ordered in one package. They will be shipped individually, and the shipping cost will be charged for each package.

Q. Can you send multiple items that are separately ordered and purchased online in one package?

A. No, sorry. You cannot exchange it for something completely different.

Q. If the product I want to exchange is out of stock, can I exchange it for another item?

A. No, sorry. We only exchange items that are currently in stock. If your preferred color or size is out of stock, we will offer you a refund and you can place a new order when your preferred product is back in stock.

Q. If the product I want to exchange is out of stock, can I wait until the item is back in stock?

A. Probably Yes! We love our products as much as we hope you do, and are happy to help you extend their lifespan. Send us an e-mail with some photos and we&#8217;ll get back to you. Please note that we are usually not able to fix color fading and severe wear-and-tear, but as mentioned, get in touch.

Q. Can you repair my item?

A. We aim to send your exchange within a week after receipt and examination of your returned product. However, this might take longer due to unforeseen circumstances.

Q. How long will it take to exchange a product?

A. No, sorry. To avoid unnecessary exchanges we do not exchange products just if you happen to not love your ordered color.

Q. The color was not the one I imagined. Can you exchange?

Yes. You can cancel your order by yourself before the shipment is prepared at our warehouse. Please click “CHECK ORDER STATUS” in the Order Confirmation email, which is sent right after you ordered.

Q. Can I pick up my package at the deliverer’s local office?

A. Your tracking number is included in the Dispatch Notice email.

A. Yes, we ship internationally. Please allow extra time or international delivery depending on the country and region. Customs duties may be charged.

Q. Do you ship internationally? Can I order outside of Japan?

A. After your payment is confirmed, item(s) will be dispatched within 7 business days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays. For preorders, lottery sales, and custom orders, the delivery schedule is written in the Order Confirmation email. 
Please allow extra time or international delivery depending on the country and region.

Q. I live outside of Japan. When does my item arrive?

A. Please contact us via the<a href="https://www.yamatomichi.com/support/contact/"> Contact Form </a>and ship the product back to us within seven days after the delivery. If any defects are found, we accept an exchange, we will refund your purchase.

Q. The item was delivered and found defective. Can you exchange it?

A. If the size of the product does not fit, we will exchange it. We only accept exchanges when the item is unused (except for fitting). Please be sure to check the following notes, and contact us via the <a href="https://www.yamatomichi.com/support/cancelpolicy/">Cancellation, Return and Exchange Request form</a> within seven days after the delivery.

A. Please use nearby metered parking lots, etc. It is approximately a 15-minute walk from JR Kamakura Station.

A. No, your item is not kept just because you registered in the RESTOCK ALERT. It just lets you know as soon as the item is back in stock. It may become quickly sold out again.

A. Please look forward to the next season!

Q. What’s the next season’s color?

A. Our product websites and JOURNALS pages have all the information including the features, sizes, materials, and recommended scenes.
