KYOTO HIKER’S GEAR PARTY 2025
We’re excited to announce that Yamatomichi will be exhibiting at the “KYOTO HIKER’S GEAR PARTY” in Kyoto City for the first time in two years.
At the Yamatomichi booth, we’ll be selling products and tenugui hand towels. You’ll also have the opportunity to field test some of our gear on the hills behind the venue, and check out a display of a full ultralight overnight setup designed for autumn hikes on the Kyoto Trail.
In addition to our Kyoto store staff, JK, Kim, and Maehara from Kamakura will also be there to welcome you — a rare chance to meet the wider Yamatomichi team in person.

Yamatomichi field test
Join our staff-led Field Test in the small mountain area next to the venue, where you can try out selected Yamatomichi products in real outdoor conditions.
The first session (13:30–14:10) will be led by Kim & Ayanan, and the second session (15:00–15:40) by Kim & Ryo.
We’ll have demo gear available, mainly from the lineup sold at the event.
If you’re considering a purchase, this is a great opportunity to experience how our products actually feel and perform on the trail.

- Same-day registration will be available at the Yamatomichi booth register.
- Please come to the Yamatomichi booth register by five minutes before the session starts to receive your demo gear.
