Introduction
Our Alpha Series, made without titanium coatings, can be machine washed on a standard cycle. Any initial fuzziness will naturally diminish after the first wash. Avoid ironing, as heat may damage the fabric. Due to the nature of the material, some light shedding/pilling from wear and slight shrinkage with washing may occur.
What you’ll need
- Neutral detergent
How to wash
1. Use a neutral detergent. Avoid fabric softeners and bleach, as they may interfere with the fabric’s performance or cause fading.
2. Use a standard wash cycle with at least two rinses to avoid detergent residue. Which may affect fabric performance.
3. Avoid pouring detergent directly—use the drawer or add it after the drum fills to prevent staining.
Tumble drying
Tumble dryer use depends on the fabric and parts. If using a dryer, set it to low heat (max 60°C).
Line drying
Hang dry the Alpha Vest, Alpha Vest Kangaroo, Alpha Haramaki, Alpha Socks, and Light Alpha Sleeves in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Lay flat to dry the Light Alpha Tights, as hanging may cause them to stretch under their own weight.
