Off the Grid 2026
Yamatomichi will be at Off the Grid 2026, one of the largest outdoor exhibitions in Japan, held on April 11–12, 2026, at Machida Shibahiro in Tokyo.
This year, in addition to a selection of products and our annual event-exclusive tenugui, we will showcase new items and ultralight hiking gear, along with hosting a talk program (in-Japanese) at our booth.

Overnight hiking gear display
OJ, manager of the Yamatomichi Kamakura store, and staff member Hideaki will showcase their gear for a one-night, two-day tent-based traverse of the Yatsugatake Mountains. Compare a standard ultralight setup with a more aggressively weight-reduced kit.
Talk program
At the booth, we will host a series of sessions covering the features, development background, and field impressions of the new Kami Shirt and Wind Zip Hoody, along with tips on selecting ultralight gear and packing techniques.

Fitting
- Backpacks can be fitted with added weight.
- Fitting rooms are available for bottoms only. Up to two items can be tried on at a time.
- Please return items to staff after trying them on.
Purchasing products
- If you wish to make a purchase, please bring the item to the register.
- Tenugui are limited to three per person.
- Quantities are limited and items may sell out.
